Biography

Started in late 2005, Fast Motion is the fruit of a common desire. Fed up with their respective bands, the 5 mates are now a part of a 5 in-line cylinder engine designed to burn the rubber, scream louder and louder.

Fueled by strong hardcore and punk/rock in uences, the French machine released its first 7 song EP/CD, entitled « Sailing to nowhere » in November 2008. Mastered at Stompbox Studios (USA) by Charles CHAUSSINAND (Lifetime, Kid Dynamite, Kill Your Idols, Outbreak, cofounder of Think Fast! Records), this first effort hit various parts of the world with the help of many independent labels : Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, South East Asia, …

Despite many line-up changes, the band has performed many shows and has shared the
stage with famous acts like A Wilhelm Scream, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Agent Orange, This Is A Standoff, Mute, or Uncommonmenfrommars. Without forgetting its roots and its local scene, the band played in various European countries by several times and toured in Japan during May and June 2010. Only for this record’s promotion, Fast Motion has performed more than 120 shows.

Fast Motion disbanded in November 2011.
